Art is and has been near me, with me for the full length of my life. At times it has been front and center, but the back burner has also been a frequent locale as well. I choose to stay adjacent to the discipline and media I love through a career in education and as an advocate, despite hanging up my apron and walking away from a fifteen years as an educator in public schools in May of 2024. Teaching one time classes at Rosa Pottery allows me to maintain that vital proximity to those folks who, like me, enjoy the wonder and frustration that comes with the making of unique and exquisite things.
